What does our service include?
- 01 Van hire without a driver — you drive yourself, category B is enough (up to 3.5 t). Pick up the van from us and go on your own.
- 02 Hire with a driver — our driver drives, you keep an eye on your things. Ideal if you don't know Zurich or don't want to drive a large vehicle.
- 03 Help with loading/unloading — optional. If you need extra hands to carry furniture — we'll agree the terms.

Zurich — what to know before your move
Blaue Zone — parking permit
In Zurich's Blue Zone (Blaue Zone) a truck or van needs a Haltebewilligung (~CHF 50 from Stadtparkhaus Zürich). Apply at least 5 days before your planned move. Without it you may get a fine or be towed away.
Narrow staircases
In older Zurich buildings, staircases can be very narrow — widths under 80 cm aren't uncommon. It's worth checking furniture and staircase dimensions in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises on moving day.
Moving dates
Most Zurich leases start on the 1st or 15th of the month. That means van slots are heavily booked on those days — reserve at least a week ahead, ideally earlier.
Duration of a move
A studio or 1-room flat usually takes 2–4 hours. A 3-room apartment — 4 to 8 hours. The time depends on the number of floors, lift access and distance between addresses. Give us the details and we'll give you a realistic estimate.
